Aryan

Aryan is a commando works for Indian army, he is on a mission to save a terrorist attack, he fights hard along with his team and saves the attack but he is badly injured and taken to hospital everyone lose hope that they will be not able to save him, he is operated by Dr. Joseph who successfully  operates him and brings him back from the death bed.

Once Aryan is recovered completely, he comes to know how Dr. Joseph has bring him back from the sure death, he wanted to thank Dr. so he goes to Dr.'s house to acknowledge his efforts, there he meets his daughter Sonia who is a genetic engineer, they start talking to each other, Sonia talks about her experiments and takes Aryan to her lab and shows him the results on the genie pigs, how with genetic modification  she can make the genie pig more intelligent, strong and defy the age degradation,  and also show her concern that how she needs a trustworthy volunteer man on whom she can test these experiment, Aryan convince her that she can trust him for this experiment.  Sonia agrees and dose the genetic modifications of Aryan, Aryan is now 10 times more intelligent, 10 times more stronger and 10 times more slower his age will degrade, Aryan is very happy with his new power and becomes greedy and misuses his new power, Sonia get's disappointed, she plans to put an end to Aryan, she seduce him while he is unaware she injects him puts him to coma. She freezes him in a controlled temperature and  connects him to a life support system in her lab and locks him there.

Sonia finds out that she is pregnant, she decides to give birth to the baby, after the birth she checks the genetic properties of the baby boy, to her fear the baby got all the genetic properties of Aryan.

Sonia brings her son Aman up but she regularly feeds him with medicines so that his super intelligent, power and age defying properties are suppressed, he grows up as a normal kid. Aman is always kept away from Sonia's lab and is given some lame excuse for the medicines he has to take.

Aman is a grown up man now he looks exactly like Aryan, Aman joins police force, thru his informers he finds out that there would be a terror attack on Mumbai in next 10 days, to get more details about the suspects he start browsing the database of criminals and missing persons, he bumps into Aryan's file of missing person, at first glance he thinks that it is his own photographs after going thru his details he found out that the file is of Aryan, Aryan was a commando working for Indian army, and he was last treated by his grandfather to counter check this he goes to his mother Sonia and ask her if she knows anything about  Aryan as his grandfather is already dead, she breaks up and tells him whatever had happened.

In the mean while there was a power failure in the lab since last 4 hours, because of that Aryan's frozen body is thawed and the supply of medicine which kept him in coma for so long is disrupted and he regains his conscious, he breaks the lab and comes towards the house and Aman moves towards lab to see his father Aryan, both intercept each other in the midway,  Aman is happy to see his father, but Aryan thinks that Sonia had made a clone of him because he misused his power and attacks Aman, Aryan does not allow Aman to speak, they both fight and finally Aman says that he is not his clone but his son, and explains him why he was kept in coma in frozen state, Aryan realizes his mistake, Aman explains Aryan the expected terror attack and tells him that this is the right situation for him regain Sonia's confidence, Aman stops taking medicines now both Aman and Aryan fights against the terrorist and saves the Mumbai city and Aryan apologies to Sonia for misusing his power and finally Sonia feels happy that her research has not be wasted and her family gets re united

First thing first - Amir Khan loves Kiran Rao very much, now you can take this in either way that Amir has delivered a first rate acting for her or believed in a story which no one else would have, either way Kiran Rao is a winner
Well about the story - lot talked about it already let's leave it there, well defiantly very different but could have handled it better

Loose ends

1. Love between Arun and Shai not developed properly, reasoning not done properly why Shai still chases him
2. Too much time spent between Shai and Munna
3. Parallel story of Munna's brother was not needed
4. Kitu Gidvani trying her luck on Amir Khan (kitchen scene) was bit too much
5. Editing was weak
6. Flash back stuff did not worked properly, you actually loose count of which part is happening live and which happened past
7. Scripting was again very weak

Good things

Acting by all of them even the Lalitha bai and her daughter were excelent
The way Yasmeen's  story grows on Arun was nice
Photography was brilliant
Background music was good
Characterization was brilliant

Overall it was a good attempt and I would say 50-50 success rate, couple of thing which is recommended are top rate acting, good presentation and very off beat story line, and couple of things thumbs down are very slow in the beginning (even I thought of leaving the theatre once, glad I didn't) very off beat story line which won't appeal to mass

All of you masala addict stay out of this

All of you who complained watching the same old stuff this one is a good watch
